Discussion invited or pro's and cons of having lockable isolating valves to individual dwellings who share a common distribution pipe from a riser which is valved and monitored at landing/ floor/zone only.
Points raised;-
Need to operate every valve annually.
Problems with damaging access panels have been experienced by some members.
Good for ease of service/ accidental activation/ isolation of one dwelling for maintenance or persistent tampering.
